SHIFTS

Circulation Desk schedules are set for the length of the semester, and are based on course schedules and student availabilities. The Winter 2025 Circulation Desk schedule ends April 23, and the schedule for summer hours will be determined by the end of semester. Preference will be given to applicants who intend to work over the summer and into the Fall. In addition, student assistants are asked to fill in, back up, or switch shifts with other student assistants when necessary. Preference will be given to applicants who have some availability for evening and weekend coverage.

Circulation shifts are scheduled in 3 to 5-hour increments, and cover our regular opening hours:

Monday - Thursday: 9am-8pm

Friday:  9am-5pm

Sunday:  12pm-5pm

Student assistants are normally limited to 15 hours per week of work on campus. If your desk shifts add up to less than 15 hours per week, there is the potential for additional hours of other work.
